About Us

Pamela’s peripatetic childhood allowed her to experience living in different places around the world; and filled her day journals with adventures and observations. Eventually her family settled back in New England where she found a career that embraced her dual passions for history and science. A job opportunity took her to Aotearoa/New Zealand, where she fell in love and married an indigenous nature and wildlife photographer. This breathtaking country with stunning views of the Milky Way and the Southern Cross renewed her fascination with the natural world and the mysteries of the universe.
Another move led Pamela to the strange world of Washington DC where she and her family have lived for the past few years. This is an area renowned for swamps, but there are other environments and a wide range of fascinating people though sometimes it’s hard to see the stars. A place and time to return to the ideas of imagined worlds and fragments of stories in her day journals, and transform them into stories she can share.
Pamela has found studying the craft of writing stories an ongoing adventure; where the Internet opens portals to online workshops, forums, and critique sites. Challenges like the NaNoWriMo showed her she could turn an idea into the rough draft of a novel in a month; ready to be slowly crafted into something to share. Telling stories that people will enjoy, to bring the worlds she has built alive in their imaginations and inspire them as she has been inspired by other writers.

Peter was captivated by science fiction and fantasy from an early age growing up in New Zealand. Inspired by the novels of J.R.R. Tolkien, C.S. Lewis and Harry Turtledove, and watching Star Trek, Star Wars, Dr Who. Any stories he could find and explore. At university in Wellington; the hilly, windy harbor capital of New Zealand, he took up philosophy and explored different views and ideas. Becoming engrossed in imagining different types of societies, and ways of looking at the world.
After moving to the DC/Maryland area with encouragement from family, he decided to explore the United States. He has found grounding in web design and programming, and has taken up story collaboration with Pamela to start his own literary journey in science fiction and fantasy. To hone his writing skills, and experiment with pushing the boundaries of genres.
He wants to make his own stories come alive, with his insight and understanding of minority issues growing up with the struggles faced by LGBTI+ youth. As an adult, he wants to reflect these perspectives in his writing. He finds the ambiguity of dystopian and utopian societies to be fascinating, in the ways that they inter-weave into a narrative.
